Rufus Hound
He was born in 1979. Since then, as far as the rich tapestry of human experience is concerned, he has contributed next to nothing. Okay, he's done some stand-up that people seem to dig, and hosted some TV shows from music festivals and stuff like that. Donny Osmond sang him Happy Birthday when he turned 28, because he was on the UK version of The Pyramid Game. But set that against Churchill who had been a war correspondent and been elected to Parliament by 28, or Ghandi who had founded The Natal Indian Congress and any of his achievements seem a little lean. Let's be honest, if you cared one way or the other what this dude had done, you could just Google him, but as a deeply lazy man himself, he doesn't blame you for not being bothered.
In 2007, he got married at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, NV and is expected to become a father for the first time on 26th of December. When people ask if he knows what his wife is having, he knows full well they're enquiring as to the sex of his child, but insists on saying "A Baby". He realizes this fact should make you think less of him. Rufus has presented the Top Of The Pops, the Glastonbury Festival and supported Rory Bremner on his highly successful National Tour. He has just finished filming "THE FLAT" which is a new BBC pilot co-starring Tom Price. He is also on a new Sky One show called called "Vorderman's Big Brain Game" with Sara Cox and Carol Vordeman. This can be seen on Thursday April 13th at 8:00pm.
