Public Symphony have self-produced, -mixed and ?mastered, and are now self-releasing this album.

Public Symphony are Dobs (vocals, piano, guitar,  programming) and James (piano, bass guitar, drum programming and production).  Friends guest on the album and make up the band: electric guitar, drums, backing vocals etc

Dobs previously managed James in a female-fronted recording act which split when they got a deal. While picking up the pieces, the two started writing and clicked. James chose Dobs instead of the female singers they auditioned, and a new artistic direction and partnership followed.

Prior to this project, James has produced countless dance records, including twiddling the knobs behind Braund Reynolds, Soul Avengerz, The Hoxton (Whore)s, Dark Monks.
Dobs has managed some big name recording  artists (e.g. DJ Sasha, BT, Dido, Mozez) and composed some big themes for TV (e.g. Sky News, The Games, Real Story).

The video of Stronger is created by Canadian animator Theodore Ushev, a collaboration which was fulfilled purely over the internet.

PUBLIC SYMPHONY’s stage time has been moved to 9pm on Monday evening for the Wateraid event in London N1. This will be a world premiere of our PUBLIC SYMPHONY Experience, a semi-live set enhanced by extraordinary visual projections for each song – including visual works by Theodore Ushev, Kel Nelson, David McKee (Mr Benn), Paul Gillard, 3DFiction etc
